Introduction to
Ceramic Sorcery

Adults and Teens 16+
8-Week Introductory Class Series
Mondays 5:30-9pm

Introduction to Ceramic Sorcery allows beginners to experience creating a variety of hand-built and wheel thrown pottery pieces. Students make projects that inspire them while learning how to use the studio tools and equipment.

This 8-week series is concluded with instruction of glazing techniques. All needed tools and a variety of glazes are in the studio and available for student use.

Students purchase their own clay which is available at the studio for $25 for 25lbs.

This 90-minute weekly class introduces students to new techniques in hand-building and glazing.

Participants are led through a variety of fun and functional pottery projects.

Each 4-week series has unique projects. Creativity and personal expression are encouraged.

Each month has four 1.5-hour classes. Make-up classes can be arranged by appointment.

Ceramic Sorcery is experienced potters and students that have completed “Introduction to Ceramic Sorcery”.

Students create projects that inspire them with teacher support. Students are introduced to new techniques and project ideas to broaden creativity and pottery skills.

Studio tools include using the pottery wheel, slab-roller, extruder and more. All needed tools and a variety of glazes are in the studio and available for student use.

The Magic of the Wheel

Adults & Kids 12+
Semi-Private Class for 3-4 People
Scheduled by Appointment

Always wanted to try creating on the pottery wheel? Or, feel like a wheel-throwing intensive is what you need to smooth out the bumps?

This 3-session semi-private class will get you started on your way. Practice centering, creating a cup, a bowl and explore techniques for finishing the pieces. Includes two 3-hour wheel classes and a 2-hour class for glazing.
